Finance Committee

The BVFA Finance Committee members provide financial oversight to maintain the financial integrity of the organization. Members review and recommend financial policies/procedures, assist in preparing and monitoring budgets, and ensure timely and meaningful financial statements.

Communications Committee

The BVFA Communications Committee members help ensure our organization’s communications are harmonious and help us work toward achieving our mission of food sovereignty for the Bow Valley. Committee members assist our contractors and board of directors with all areas of BVFA communications, including our website, social media, press releases, newsletters and more.

Food Charter Working Group

The BVFA Food Charter Working Group members focus on using the BVFA Food Charter to engage Bow Valley municipalities in conversations about how food relates to a variety of different aspects within our communities.

The JEDDI (Justice, Equity, Diversity, Decolonization, and Inclusion) Circle discuss how justice, equity, and diversity influence our everyday relationships and work within the BVFA.
