The Bow Valley Food Alliance operates within Treaty 7 territory, traditional territories and home of the Îyâhrhe Nakoda (Stoney Nakoda) - comprised of the Bearspaw Nation, Chiniki First Nation, and Goodstoney First Nation - as well as the Tsuut’ina First Nation and the Blackfoot Confederacy - comprised of the Siksika, Piikani, and Kainai. We also acknowledge that this territory is home to the Métis Nation of Alberta, Region 4. We acknowledge and appreciate that we live, work and recreate in their territory and commit to the work of reconciliation.
